Placing an Order
To place an order from www.soundsonline.com, please follow these instructions.
First you will need to search for the items you would like to order. Title and keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page of our store. You will also find drop down menus in the top navigation bar of our home page. When you find an item that interests you, click the title or name of the item to see its detail page. Here you will find more information about the item.
Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart
If you want to order an item, click the "Add to Cart" button on the right side of the detail page. Use the cart's top navigation bar or the "Return to Home Page" link to keep searching or browsing until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your "Shopping Cart" any time by clicking the "View Cart" link at the top of every page of our site.
Review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. If you decide that you don't want to purchase a particular item, or the quantity is incorrect, click the "remove from cart" link under the title. When you're ready to order the items in your "Shopping Cart", click the "Checkout" button. You will be taken to the "License" page where you are required to accept the terms of the license in order to proceed to the "Check Out" page. New customers will be required to "Register" before proceeding to the "Check Out" page (see the "Signing In" section).
If you are a new customer you will be required to "Register" before proceeding to the "Check Out" page. Enter the requested information, and click the "Submit Registration" button. (Keep in mind that the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address to which we can send information about subsequent orders.). If you do not wish to be included in our special offers and news emailing, select the "No" radio button. Before you do this, you should be aware that we never sell or rent your information to any other company, and our biggest discounts are only offered privately in our emails to customers.
Review Your Order
Review all of the items listed in the "Invoice". If you have a "Coupon Code" enter it now and click on the "Submit" button.
Check the "Shipping/Billing Address" details for accuracy. If this information is incorrect, click on the "Update Your Profile" button to update the information. PLEASE NOTE: for security reasons we only ship to the billing address of your credit card (which is verified). We ship by Federal Express, so we cannot ship to a PO Box
Method of Payment
Let us know how you would like to pay for your order. All prices are in US Dollars on the US site, or Euros on the European site. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit cards. All orders must be prepaid. Enter your credit card number without spaces or dashes.
Submit Your Order
Check the accuracy of all of the information you have provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the "Check Out" button to submit your order. Please wait for your credit card approval which can take a minute or two to process - hitting the stop or back button and the check out button again may result in duplicate charges. Once your order is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation e-mail message.
Delivery time is estimated only and not guaranteed. Orders must be received by us before 12 midday (USA Pacific Standard Time). Items ordered must be in stock at our warehouses (out of stock items will be shipped upon receipt). Delays can be caused by our shipper, which can include, but are not limited to, weather delays, import and/or customs delays, or other interruptions to service beyond our control. Please allow additional shipping time for any sale or promotion, or custom products such as Complete Composers Collection. You will receive a FEDEX tracking number when your order is shipped that allows you to follow the delivery on-line.
PLEASE NOTE: Neither the Licensor, or www.soundsonline.com or www.soundsonline-europe.com (divisions of East West Communications, Inc.) can be held responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from a delayed or lost shipment.
If you live outside of the United States, you are responsible for all import duties and taxes. These charges vary by country, so please contact your local customs office for details. European customers may choose to shop at our European site, www.soundsonline-europe.com.
Shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The "Shipping" cost is automatically calculated on the "Check Out" page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
We do not accept returns unless you have a defective product. Defective products will be exchanged for the same product for a period of 90 days. No refunds will be given for downloaded sound samples.
IMPORTANT: Before you return any product, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get a RETURN AUTHORIZATION number (RA). Items returned without an RA number clearly displayed on the outside of the package (example RA# 022503) will not be accepted by our shipping department.
