EASTWEST PLAY PRO software is the ultimate editor for PLAY. Use in standalone or plugin mode and gain complete control over all parameters in all your PLAY instruments. Import your own samples and create your own PLAY instruments with intuitive sample mapping and other powerful editing features.

PLAY PRO puts all the power of this amazing virtual instrument platform in your hands. Use the same tools as EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP producers Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix, and the other producers and editors used when they created virtual instruments such as Fab Four, EW/QL Pianos, Gypsy, Ministry of Rock, Voice of Passion, SD2, Goliath, Symphonic Orchestra, Silk, RA, SD2 PRO, and Symphonic Choirs.

The effects and modulators section gives you access to all filters and controllers on a single page. Extensive routing options include 4 effects send, an insert bus, and even side-chaining for each instrument.

PLAY PRO includes the highest quality effects available in any sampling software including convolution reverb, automatic double tracking (ADT), chorus, phaser, compression, distortion, ring modulation, delays, filters, and more.

Control multiple microphone positions for instruments such as Symphonic Orchestra, Symphonic Choirs and EW/QL Pianos. Connect modulator outputs to parameter inputs. Set keyswitches, channel source and start mode.

Use the mapping editor to adjust key and velocity range, root key, volume tune and pan. Adjust sample start and end times (NOTE: you cannot edit the actual samples, only adjust start and end times). The loop manager gives you control of multiple loops, including start and end times, count, and crossfade. Add release trails and control release trail damping so release trails always blend perfectly with your samples.

Now you'll have access to the most powerful scripting engine available in any sampler. EastWest developers added the Python language to PLAY to give you incredible control over your instruments.

PLAY PRO includes the same performance script library used by current PLAY virtual instruments. Build presets, change script execution order, develop, modify, and test scripts all in a powerful script editor built right into the PLAY PRO user interface.

PLAY PRO is a licensed add-on to the standard PLAY Virtual Instrument software. You get access to all the new features in additional screens in all your installed PLAY instruments!
